  1. Icon Palette!
  2.  
  3. Icon Palette is a Visual Basic for Windows utility to view an entire directory
  4. of icon files as filenames and their images.  An icon can be selected visually and
  5. then its path and filename can be copied to the clipboard to be pasted into a VB
  6. control's attribute.
  7.  
  8. Icon Palette is a Rollup so it can be dropped down to look at Icons and
  9. then Rolled up to save space when not needed.  A toolbar is used for selections
  10. with QuickHelp messages describing each function.

  12. Installation:
  13.      You must download the Visual Basic 3.0 for Windows runtime file;
  14.     VBRUN300.DLL to run Icon Palette.  Copy it into your
  15.      _:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
  16.     Copy 'THREED.VBX' and 'GRID.VBX' to your _:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  17.     directory.  Copy 'ICONS.EXE' to a convenient directory ( _:\WINDOWS,
  18.     _:\VB, _:\TOOLS, etc.)
  19.     NOTE: Replace the underscore character in the directories with the
  20.                Drive Letter where your directory exits!

  22.     From Program Manager select the menu item File/New [Program Item].
  23.     Use the Browse button to find 'ICONS.EXE'.
